Daily photo log. Older photos are occasionally included to keep the photographer's spirits up. Mr. Cake is a frequently photographed cat named Pancake. He lives with Harley, October, and Nicholas, as well as several hens. I have far too many cameras: a Sony A700, a now-deceased Konica Minolta Maxxum 7D (the only finest 6MP Minolta-compatible digital SLR money could buy circa 2005, may it rest in peace), a Diana F+, a Minolta Dynax 800si, a Konica Auto-Reflex, an iPhone, a Pentax 6x7, a $10 Snap Sights underwater 35mm, an Agfa Clack, a Graflex 22 TLR, and a neglected Graflex Super Graphic. My friends Karl and Gitanjali keep two beehives in my backyard. Beekeeping is fun to observe and photograph, except for the getting stung part (current sting count: Brenna: 2, Gitanjali: 2, Karl: 9, everyone else: 4). My favorite things to photograph include chain link finials, art cars, insects, street art, cats, plastic flamingos, decorated pumpjacks, and chickens. All images © 2003-2012 Brenna B.
