Week 25 #5.

Birds of a feather

don’t really flock together

when living in town.

From the top: Turkey Vulture; Scissortail Flycatcher; Northern Mockingbird; Guinea Fowl. I saw all four (plus several more interesting specimens that escaped my lens) on my way to and from work on the same day, which made for a pretty blissful commute.

Week 24 #4.
I am a sucker
for backlighting. And murals.
And views of downtown.

Week 21 #5.
Cascarónes time
means it’s okay to throw eggs.
Wish I’d used f/8.*
*Honestly, I really wish I’d gone with f/11, but that was far too many syllables. Sorry folks. Artistic license.

Week 19 #5. Reversal film is so beautiful to look at, yet so hard (for me) to scan properly. I’ve realized that unless I want to pay for someone who knows what they’re doing to scan my film for me, I should probably stick with negatives… grrr.

Week 19 #4. Hanna, Matt, and I enjoyed the decor outside St. Roch’s.

Some people go on photo walks. I tend to take photo bike rides.

Week 18 #5. When I got these developed, all of could think of was Zuul.

Disclaimer: The lightning is a special effect already on the Revolog film. Fun!

Week 18 #1. Mister Mistercake’s demonstrates the wrong way to wear a bike helmet.
